In 2016, I, Carola Skarabela, founded and became the president of Team Alé e.V. with the vision of building a strong, nationwide community for passionate cyclists in Germany. Over the years, we have grown as a team, met at numerous events, trained together, and motivated each other. Now, it is time for the next step.
Team Alé e.V. is now Q36.5 Racing Expedition Germany e.V. – a registered association with a club character and an open structure that welcomes ambitious riders, recreational cyclists, and all cycling enthusiasts alike.
Our association is not a closed racing team but an open club that provides a platform for anyone interested in cycling. Performance-oriented riders benefit from our network and the opportunity to participate in BDR-sanctioned races and cycling marathons. Recreational cyclists find like-minded people for group rides, races, and endurance events. Community spirit is at the heart of everything we do – whether online or at in-person meetings, we share knowledge and a passion for cycling that connects us.
The structure of our association offers numerous advantages for our members. As a registered association, we provide legal security, exclusive offers, discounts, and reduced entry fees for events. We strengthen the community, create networking opportunities beyond regional borders, and actively support the development of cycling through our voluntary work with Munich Bike Stars.
A strong team needs strong partners. We are proud to have Q36.5 supporting us, equipping our members with high-quality, innovative cycling apparel. In addition, we collaborate with other partners to provide our members with exclusive benefits and a strong network.
Our team regularly participates in renowned events. One of the highlights is the Giro delle Dolomiti, in which we have taken part for many years. We also attend cycling marathons, group rides, and club meet-ups, always focusing on team spirit, shared experiences, and advancing the sport of cycling.
With Q36.5 Racing Expedition Germany e.V., we have created a club where all cycling enthusiasts can find their place – regardless of their level. I look forward to new challenges, exciting projects, and the opportunity to further develop cycling in Germany.
