There are moments when you immediately feel: this is the right fit. That’s exactly how it was when Caro from ciaocycling.cc approached me. She had already successfully organized the first camp at Lake Garda and had the vision to turn it into something bigger. When she asked me if I wanted to join, I didn’t have to think twice – because this mix of passion for cycling, love for Italy and the drive to build something of our own is exactly what excites me.
Caro laid the foundation with a lot of dedication and heart, and I’m really excited to now be on board as a co-project partner. Together we want to further develop ciaocycling in the coming years and create bike camps that are more than just training. For us, it’s about the full experience: tours between Lake Garda, southern Verona and Valpolicella, the perfect balance of sporting challenge and dolce vita, small groups, personal support – and always those Italian moments that are simply part of it: espresso stops, an aperitivo after the ride, shared laughter and the feeling of experiencing something together.
A special focus is on gravel. Because here, in our adopted home, lies a true hidden paradise for everyone who loves gravel roads, hidden trails and adventure. Off the beaten paths, there are countless routes through vineyards, olive groves and small villages that we’ve explored ourselves – and that we now want to share with you as insider tips.
What’s especially exciting: the first dates for 2026 are already set! And that’s not all – we’re also bringing exciting partners on board, making the camps even more diverse and unique. Step by step, a concept is taking shape that’s perfect for both beginners and ambitious cyclists alike.
For me, this really feels like the start of a new chapter. Both of us bring our experiences, strengths and ideas to the table – and that’s exactly what makes ciaocycling so special. I can’t wait to see what’s ahead and to share this journey with you.
