Still glowing.
Months of preparation. Countless messages between Carolina and me. Website, social media, jerseys and casual wear we designed ourselves. Routes we’ve ridden a hundred times — and rode again anyway. Small details we debated because they mattered to us. Not because anyone on the outside would notice — but because we wanted it to feel right.
And then the first day arrives. The riders show up. And suddenly all that planning becomes something real.
That’s the moment you do it all for.

Showing our home — the way we know it
Lake Garda is where we live. And that’s exactly what we wanted to share — not the postcard version, but the real one. The quiet roads you won’t find on Komoot. The gravel paths through the vineyards that no app knows. Our favourite bars and a caffè shakerato right on the beach. The organic winemaker who takes us through his cellar, talks about sustainable viticulture, and makes us feel like we’ve been invited to a family dinner.
Garda Loop, Lugana, Borghetto, Valpolicella — every route chosen with intention. Every lunch stop, every dinner, every small ritual. Bigoli at Trattoria al Dosso. Dinner in Lazise on the water. Compex for the legs — because we know exactly how they feel after four days of gravel.
It was beautiful to watch it all come together. To see the group grow into itself. To watch strangers become something harder to describe after just a few days on the bike.

The Goodie Bag — Christmas in May
One of my favourite moments of the whole camp: the unpacking. Every rider received a goodie bag put together with the same care as everything else — products we actually use ourselves. Nothing to fill space. The reactions said it all.
That only works with partners who truly get it. And we’re lucky to have them at our side:

Sportbenzin Onlineshop für Sporternährung (with the support of PowerBar and Pillar Performance) Schwalbe, Abus, Q36.5, Compex, KEEGO, KQ Road, Gooch Goo, TUNAP Sports,
You are part of the experience. Thank you.

What stays
Tired legs. Faces that said everything. And the knowledge that together we created something these women won’t forget.
That’s exactly what ciaocycling. is for.

More camps to come — and plenty left to plan. A huge thank you to Bike Hotel Mod 05 und Truly Italy
