The Sporting Women Cycling Camp in the idyllic Allgäu offered me a unique opportunity to share my passion for cycling and my knowledge of sports nutrition. As a guide, I was part of a motivated team that led women on challenging yet beautiful tours through the Alpine landscape. In addition to the joy of cycling, there were also workshops, lectures, and exchanges among like-minded athletes.
I was particularly proud to have Hammer Nutrition on board, a brand that has supported me for a long time in my sporting activities. Hammer Nutrition offers high-quality sports nutrition products that optimally support the body during intense efforts. These products have not only convinced me but also many of the participants.
Sportbenzin.ch / Sportbenzin.at is the online shop for sports nutrition. During the camp, participants had the opportunity to purchase various products and brands at the expo stand and replenish their energy needs.
A special highlight of the camp was the Alé Cycling jerseys that I brought with me. Alé is known for its high-quality, innovative, and stylish cycling apparel that sets standards in both performance and design. The camp participants had the chance to test the jerseys firsthand, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The combination of breathable materials, ergonomic fit, and distinctive Italian style ensured that each rider not only felt comfortable but also looked great.
In addition to my role as a guide, I also gave a lecture on sports nutrition, which was a particular highlight of the camp. It was fantastic to see how interested and eager the participants were when it came to topics like proper energy supply, hydration, and recovery. We discussed the importance of macronutrients, proper nutrition before, during, and after tours, and supplements that can enhance performance and aid recovery.
The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive, and I had many valuable conversations. For me, it was an unforgettable time filled with inspiration, sporting challenges, and great encounters. These camps show how important it is to support and connect women in cycling – and I am already looking forward to participating again next time!
